ABOUT

I'm a veterinary pathologist by training and an amateur baker by heart's desire. In 2015, my husband and I left our full time careers to pursue a lifestyle that included spending half our time in Sydney, Australia and half in the Scottish highlands. In Scotland, we live in a circa 1860 granite cottage sweetly named Blossom Cottage. To my surprise, my career as a veterinary pathology freelancer flourished. Until the lockdown, that is. Now with ample time on my hands and a renovated kitchen that I adore but no guests to entertain, I've started baking mini-cakes, just the right size for two. Many likes on FB and a few requests for recipes prompted me to start this blog and so I present "Bakes at Blossom."
